Preventative
Maintenance
Preventative Maintenance reduces the long-term costs
of owning a building.
We can carefully plan a Preventative Maintenance schedule
for a building as we are able to anticipate the maintenance
requirement's of each element of a building and therefore
increase their lifespan.
Works will be considered to minimise and spread the
cost to make it more manageable. This becomes particularly
important when costs are recoverable from tenants under
a service charge agreement.

Reinstatement
Cost Assessment
Used for insurance purposes, a Reinstatement Cost Assessment
advises on the anticipated cost of re-constructing your
building in the event of damage by an insured risk.
If a building is only insured for half of what it would
cost to rebuild, the payment will be half of the loss.
This applies even if your claim is well below the sum
insured; as a building owner it's assumed that you have
insured the difference with the premium you saved. Although,
if your building is over-insured the reverse doesn't
apply and there's no profit, simply a wasted over-payment
of premium. Therefore it's essential that your reinstatement
cost is calculated correctly. You'll be pleased to hear
that we have considerable experience preparing Reinstatement
Cost Assessments, specialising in the assessment and
management of Portfolio Reinstatement Cost Assessments,
whatever the type or size of your property or properties.
